The Stanford Presidential Lecture Series in the Humanities
and Arts brings the most distinguished scholars, artists, and critics
of our time to the Stanford University campus for lectures, seminars,
panel discussions, and a variety of related interactions with faculty,
students, and the community at large. Funded by the President's Office,
and administered under the auspices of the
Stanford Humanities Center,
these programs explore new roles and relations for the Humanities and
Arts in the academic community in the 21st Century.
